Their combined work in the industry has included funding rounds ranging from $7.6 million to over $100 million, and teams adding up to more than 1000 people. I’m proud that the innovation behind Willowfinch, the hard work of our team, and the need for the tool we’ve created is being seen and appreciated in their ranks.

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON (July 13, 2022) — Willowfinch, the exploration app for house hunting, announced today that it has been named a Finalist in the 2022 WealthManagement.com Industry Award (the “Wealthies) for Real Estate.
The Willowfinch tool gives advisors the personalized and detailed data they need to engage, inform, and educate their clients to help them make better housing decisions. Tapping into millions of data points across the country including income tax, property tax, healthcare, and more, this level of information has not been available to buyers at this scale before.

Now in its eighth year, the WealthManagement.com Industry Awards is the only awards program of its kind to honor outstanding achievements by companies, organizations, and individuals that support financial advisor success. A panel of judges made up of top names in the industry and led by WealthManagement.com editor-in-chief David Armstrong chose the finalists and will determine the winners, which each year recognizes the firms and individuals who are bringing new innovations to market that make a real difference to the daily activities of financial advisors. Winners will be announced on September 8th.

Willowfinch was inspired by founder Andrea’s own experience navigating the decision of where to retire. After some data crunching, it became clear that it was counterintuitively cheaper for her to retire in Seattle than to move to Georgia. She realized that there are likely thousands, if not millions, of people who could benefit from this sort of data analysis, but not many who had access to the time and tools to gather and sort through it all. So she began her work creating Willowfinch.
Willowfinch now provides financial advisors and their clients with personalized cost-of-living calculations, property by property, and affordability analysis to give house hunters a more accurate picture of where they should move.
